Ciro' DOC Rosato "Bisanzio"

Linardi's Bisanzio range is derived from grapes grown in selected coastal and hillside d.o.c. vineyards. Each year Francesco and Roberto Linardi choose the most suitable vineyards according to the nature of the harvest.

This wine has been especially developed to be enjoyed when young and it responds favourably to the needs of a wide range of tastes.

For this rose wine, red Gaglioppo grapes are subjected to a brief maceration from which the wine derives its ideal colour, aroma and tannins. The wine is then carefully matured by Roberto Linardi for 6 months until spring, when the wine is ready to be bottled.

Cirò Rosato has a strong pink colour, a crisp, fresh and fruity scent and a good bite leading to a decisive virtuous taste.

This wine is quite similar to traditional 'home made' wines produced from Gaglioppo grapes all over Calabria... but inevitably the style is exalted by Linardi's oenological expertise.
